Easy Watering with a Sprinkler Timer
With a sprinkler timer, watering or irrigation tasks become much easier. It is because a timer is the brain of any sprinkler system -- your watering schedule can be programmed as to the day and time as well as the volume of water to use per spray session. A sprinkler timer can also recommend a schedule based on the weather, plant type and sprinkler type. There are several sprinkler timers manufactured for home or commercial use, namely, the Scheduling Advisor, Time Pod, ECXTRA, 3015 Electronic Aqua Timer, and 6-Station Sprinkler Timer with Remote. 3015 Electronic Aqua Timer This sprinkler timer is so precise that once set or programmed, you can forget about the whole thing. This particular sprinkler timer automatically starts and shuts off without over-watering or under-watering. It can be left overnight because it runs under low pressure drip and soaker hoses. It can also be programmed to water for a maximum of three times a day. 6-Station Sprinkler Timer with Remote This sprinkler timer is a combination of two independent systems of mechanical switches and digital electronics. Setting them up is quite easy with the aid of push-button keys, a rotary dial and an LCD screen. The rotary dial is used for function and timer mode selection. The LCD display allows you to view the program settings that have been entered. A remote control is an added accessory for convenience. There is also a golden hose with a brass hose faucet manifold. The 6-Station sprinkler is able to water each station for a period of 1 to 99 minutes. It has a rain and snow sensor which, when activated, will automatically delay the watering schedule. This contributes to water efficiency.
